Exporting single stage of multistage route includes the POIs from all of the stages in the route file. Minor inconvenience, importing to garmin connect for example strips any POIs not on route anyway, but for example gpxstudio displays them all.

Currently, POIs only exist in the sidebar as the waypoint that is attached to it. Example photo from RideWithGPS. Suggested features: Add just the name and icon of the POI to the waypoint list; often some shelters are 'unnamed point' and I don't notice it when saving the POI, and the name is not shown anywhere unless clicking that POI again. Listing the names would help spotting these errors. Make the name editable from the sidebar. Route stats from start or from previous POI, such as elevation and distance.

In addition to creating a mega database of spherical/360/panoramic photos, such creators would receive an additional point/premium Veloplaner package/rewards or anything else to encourage building the base of this platform. Siemanko We already have the option to add photos for “Photos of routes” I came up with the idea to prevent duplication, or reloading of the same photos to our routes that we will create. Currently adding photos is from the left sidebar as you can see in the attachment. The photos added in this way show up on the route we have set. The idea is to use the photos we added earlier (in the past) in the “Route photos” area. When saving the route, after reloading on the route (if possible), suggested photos appear on the route that we have added (previously in the “Photos of routes” area) along the route created/sketched by us. The photos we added earlier (at one time) displayed and would look the same as on the screen (the circular thumbnail then has a round plush (+) on it, which would allow to use this photo of the route for our sketched route. So when we sketch a route, or have it imported, when we know that we haven't added a picture before. We use the option to upload photos in the sidebar. On the other hand, it is possible to “connect” a previously added photo from the “Photos of routes” area to our route. I think I described it meaningfully. This functionality could be discussed. Siema A new feature “Route Photos” has been made available, it gives the opportunity to share the view that we see “from behind the wheel” on the route traveled. In addition to this, we get points and fight in the competition. Due to the fact that there is a rash (like mushrooms after rain) of this type of photos, this gamification is a little different from discovering and sharing materials (photos and reviewing) of these POI points. So my suggestion is as follows. Change the score, which would be as follows. PHOTOS OF THE ROUTE (per photo) Decrease to 1 point or (5 points remaining) PHOTOS in POI (per photo) Remains 5 points or (increase to 10 points) POI REVIEWS (per review) Let's increase to 15 points in the case of this upper score limit, keeping this lower one is reviews scored by 10 points If we introduce additional restrictions minimum number of characters e.g. 500 characters the review is added and visible again but remains in the “to be verified” status and can be removed when it contains “foam beating, lorem ipsum, or turns out to be deceptively cheated, etc. The change of scoring is intended to engage a little more users, because let's agree photos from the routes give you the opportunity at this moment - going to the easy way to “win” a large number of points while driving and, by the way, to photograph what you see in front of you. POI points are more demanding, because sometimes you have to get off the bike, go downhill, up the stairs, take pictures from different sides. What shows more commitment and that should be rewarded differently. This is my proposal. Regards

Siemka I think that an interesting facilitation would be to introduce on the website (for the desktop version) the ability to load photos by dragging “Drag & Drop”. That is, in every place where we upload photos under the button “Select photos” which it proposes to center and change the color to green or such as the “premium” button to make it stand out. Add the option to add any existing route as a new stage. This could done be by adding a button to the already existing context menu after clicking on a route in the viewing mode. This would be useful when you want to stick to a specific long route like an Eurovelo. When planning manually you need to add a lot of waypoints and there often still are some small deviations from the route which take a lot of time to fix.

The biggest difficulty of planning today is probably the challenge: what quality route will I take. It is known - the map will accept everything, and the terrain often tricks us. Several times I have already approached the topic of how to meaningfully show the planner the quality of the route, but it is extremely difficult due to the lack of data. So, some kind of middle ground (maybe quite good) would be to add quality routes existing in official collections, joined together, as an additional auxiliary layer (just like asphalt and gravel). The heuristic is that if someone led an official route there, then there is probably a good road there. On the attached screen I uploaded the combined 3 breveted routes from Race Through Poland. And looking at these “lines” you can already easily combine a route around the basin yourself in principle of any length.

It would be nice to be able to add biketouring specific information to a POI in form of a destricption, review or comment. Example: You were at a great shelter. You describe what you had access to, where you found water and a picture of the place.

I've been using Veloplanner very frequently over the past couple of weeks during my trip through Europe. I never had any issues with speed, but lately the performance dropped drastically. Not always, but from time to time there are issues like: Pages loading slow or not at all, routes calculation running forever with no result (stuck on "calculating route"), trail view images loading slow or not at all, and so on... Screenshot of network tab from a single trail view image (opened in new tab) attached, took 1.8 minutes to load from the server. Also a screenshot from route images not showing after the page fully loaded. Working on Brave on MacBook and Google Pixel, turning off Brave Shields and deleting all website data/cache didn't help. Internet speed is good. Other websites load really fast.
